Ongoing efforts are being made to overcome challenging factors, such as the rapid aging of the population, the escalation of lifestyle and chronic illnesses, and Swine Flu, that augment the world's infectious disease rate and continue to threaten public wellbeing. The growing importance of the topics of 'health' and 'life' make the life science and healthcare industries increasingly core, value-added industries in our present day. In order to thrive in such a competitive environment, we must make compromises and hedge risk through a strategy of "collaboration and partnership." Amidst this highly competitive setting, KHIDI USA, based in the world's most advanced healthcare nation, encourages collaboration between the Korean and American health care industries, in the areas of products, technologies, services, and expertise. While promoting a joint partnership between the Korean and U.S. healthcare industries, KHIDI USA seeks to achieve mutual growth for both nations. In our endeavors, we ask for the participation and support of all those involved in our undertakings.
